Netcorp EWD Operator Guide
V1.1 – Last updated 24/2/2025
Introduction
If you’re a transport operator and are responsible for managing multiple driver’s fatigue management and work diary records, then you will need to setup an “Operator” account in the Netcorp EWD. This account should be setup with an E-MAIL address that is unique to the operator and will never expire or change throughout the life of the business. The transport operator’s account is responsible for the setup and assignment of “Record Keeper” accounts, which are personnel assigned to the management of compliance records within the operation.
OPERATORS are responsible for the:
Setup and operation of the EWD system within the business
Assignment and management of Record Keeper’s accounts
RECORD KEEPERS are responsible for the:
Invitation of Driver’s records to be able to be viewed in the system
Management of the driver’s EWD records with the platform
Management of the driver’s submitted EWD records within the platform
Alerts and reporting relating to the driver’s EWD performance such as breaches and EWD record submissions
Ensuring that drivers are using approved devices with the Netcorp EWD platform.
It is the OPERATOR’s responsibility to ensure that drivers that are utilising their EWD are doing so in accordance with the NHVR requirements of approved devices within the Netcorp EWD’s certification. Netcorp has noted below all currently approved devices and takes no responsibility for drivers using devices that are not currently approved for use.

Note: A driver’s user account can only be created by a driver via the EWD app or by a Record Keeper.

Record Keepers
The Record Keepers page allows you to create and manage accounts for your Record Keepers.
From this page existing record keeper accounts can be edited by pressing the pen icon or deleted by pressing the trash can button in the Actions column.

Click Add Record Keeper and enter the record keepers full name, email and password. The email and password entered here will be used by the record keeper to login to the web portal.

User Management
Operator accounts can also add other users that allow for the management of Record Keepers. The Users page displays all user accounts created under the Operator Account. Additional user accounts can be created to allow them access to create record keepers and manage operator details. User accounts can be edited by pressing the pen icon or deleted by pressing the trash can button in the Actions column.
Important Note: User accounts have the same ability as an operator account to create record keeper accounts. It is important that they are managed carefully and securely by the transport operator as this is a highly privileged capability and can be considered sensitive to the security of driver records.

NHVR Rulesets
The Rulesets page displays all rulesets currently available to drivers. Rulesets are read only. All drivers assigned to the operator’s Netcorp EWD account will have the ability to choose from these rulesets when they log into their EWD app on their device.
If your Transport Operation has an approved AFM (Advanced Driver Fatigue) ruleset implemented in Netcorp’s EWD then you should also see it listed here.
